The 3M 7010325697 is a polyurethane-based marine adhesive sealant formulated for permanent, watertight bonding and sealing in both above and below waterline applications. It delivers an extremely strong bond that remains flexible after cure, allowing structural movement and absorbing stress from shock, vibration, and material swelling or shrinking. The cured sealant resists weathering and saltwater exposure, making it a reliable choice for professional marine repair and construction. Packaged in a 1 oz tube, it is suited to small-scale or detail work where a caulking gun is not practical.
This sealant is used in a wide range of marine construction and repair scenarios, including bonding fiberglass deck to fiberglass hull, wood to fiberglass, and sealing portholes and deck fittings. Additional applications include mounting motors on fiberglass transoms, sealing under moldings, hull seams above and below the waterline, centerboard trunk joints, strut-to-planking joints, stern joints, and deck housing assemblies. Marine contractors, boatbuilders, and experienced marine service technicians are the primary installers.
Suitable for bonding and sealing fiberglass to fiberglass, wood to fiberglass, and a broad range of marine substrates including hull seams, deck fittings, portholes, transoms, struts, planking, and centerboard trunk joints.
Applied by marine contractors or qualified boatyard technicians. Ensure all bonding surfaces are clean, dry, and free of oils, old sealant, and loose material before application. Allow the full open time before disturbing joints, and do not expose the uncured sealant to water during the cure period. Work in accordance with the vessel manufacturer's specifications and applicable marine industry standards.
