The 3M 7000148190 is a Type 29 ceramic flap disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal and other hard surfaces. Part of the 3M 967A series, this disc features a cloth-backed ceramic abrasive at 40 grit, rated Very Coarse grade. The conical Type 29 profile presents the abrasive at an angle that concentrates cutting force and generates less heat than flat Type 27 designs. It mounts via a standard arbor attachment and is rated to a maximum of 13,300 RPM. Licensed metalworkers, fabricators, and industrial maintenance technicians use this disc for weld blending, surface conditioning, and rust or scale removal.
