The 3M 7000121949 is an extra-hard density unitized abrasive wheel designed for aggressive deburring and finishing on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Built on a non-woven aluminum oxide construction, this 900 Series wheel delivers the highest level of mineral density and edge durability within the Standard Abrasives Unitized Wheels line. At 2 inches in diameter, it mounts to standard unitized wheel mandrels and is suited for use on grinders, die grinders, and bench-mounted tools. Metal fabricators and finishing technicians turn to this wheel for heavy-duty burr removal and surface conditioning on harder metals where lesser wheels wear quickly.
This wheel is well suited for industrial and shop environments where consistent edge deburring and surface finishing are required on both ferrous and non-ferrous materials, including aluminum. Its extra-hard density construction makes it a practical choice for high-cycle production finishing operations and maintenance shops handling tough stock removal tasks. The wheel runs in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, giving technicians flexibility when pairing it with various tool configurations. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard consumable for use with unitized wheel mandrels on die grinders, right-angle grinders, and bench-mounted finishing tools accepting 2-inch diameter center-hole unitized wheels.
Installation is performed by metalworking technicians or finishing shop personnel. Power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before mounting or removing the wheel.
