The 3M 7000120667 is a Scotch-Brite Roloc Surface Conditioning Disc designed for cleaning, finishing, blending, deburring, and radiusing on metal and other substrates. Built with a non-woven nylon fiber construction bonded with aluminum oxide abrasive, the disc delivers a consistent cut rate across the full life of the product. The open-web fiber structure runs cool, reducing the risk of heat discoloration or warping on workpieces. At 2 inches in diameter and rated to 25,000 RPM, this medium-grade disc mounts via the 3M Roloc TS quick-change attachment system, allowing fast disc swaps with a simple twist-off, twist-on motion without additional tools.
This disc is suited for use on stainless steel, ferrous alloys, and a broad range of metalworking substrates. Typical applications include surface prep, weld blending, edge deburring, and contour finishing on fabricated parts. The non-woven fiber construction conforms to irregular and contoured surfaces, making it useful wherever a rigid abrasive disc would leave uneven results. It is intended for use with a compatible Roloc TS disc pad mounted on a die grinder or disc sander, and is a practical choice for sheet metal work, fabrication shops, and general industrial maintenance tasks performed by metalworkers and maintenance technicians.
Designed for use with 3M Roloc TS disc pads and compatible die grinders or disc sanders. The Roloc TS attachment system requires a matching TS-style disc pad, sold separately.
Installation is performed by threading the disc button onto a compatible Roloc TS disc pad with a simple twist-on motion until secure. Confirm the disc pad and grinder are rated to at least 25,000 RPM before mounting. Power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before changing discs. Wear appropriate eye protection and gloves during disc changes and grinding operations.
