The 3M 7000119217 is a ceramic-abrasive quick-change disc designed for aggressive stock removal on metal surfaces. Part of the 3M 984F series, it uses a coated ceramic abrasive grain bonded to a polyester cloth backing rated YF weight, delivering consistent cut rate and durability under high-load grinding conditions. The disc measures 4 inches in diameter, carries a 36-grit very coarse grade, and is rated to 12,000 RPM. It attaches via the Roloc TSM Type S system, allowing fast one-handed disc changes without tools. Licensed electricians, pipefitters, welders, sheet-metal workers, and maintenance technicians are the typical users.
