The 3M 7000118196 is a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) abrasive disc designed for surface finishing and fine material removal. Built on a flexible polyester film backing, this 5-inch disc uses aluminum oxide abrasive in a super fine grade, making it well suited for final-stage sanding, scuff finishing, and surface preparation work where a smooth, consistent finish is required. The film backing provides dimensional stability and conforms to slightly contoured surfaces. At 0.01 pounds per disc, the lightweight construction reduces user fatigue during extended use. Installation requires no fasteners — the PSA backing adheres directly to a compatible backing pad.

This disc is intended for use with random orbital sanders in professional finishing environments including metalworking, automotive bodywork, woodworking shops, and general fabrication settings. The super fine aluminum oxide grit performs best in the final passes of a sanding sequence, after coarser grits have addressed bulk material removal. The disc is green in color and does not include vacuum holes, so it is suited for applications where dust extraction through the disc is not required. Minimum order quantity is 50 discs. Installation Notes
