3M 7000049779 Polyester Tape 8991 is a thin, conformable polyester masking tape with a silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive designed for high-temperature masking and surface protection. The tape is 2 in wide, 72 yd long and 2.4 mil thick, offering chemical resistance, 31 oz/in adhesion and 29 lb/in tensile strength. It performs across a temperature range of -60°F (-50°C) to 400°F (204°C) for applications such as powder coating, flash breaker/bag sealing, splicing and tabbing.
