The 3M 7000048380 is a light-duty vinyl floor aisle marking tape designed for clearly defining walkways, work zones, and traffic lanes in industrial and commercial facilities. The tape measures 1.5 inches wide and 108 feet long, with a 5.2 mil vinyl construction that lays flat and adheres reliably to smooth, hard floor surfaces. The solid blue color provides high visibility for aisle and zone delineation. Facility maintenance technicians, safety coordinators, and plant floor crews are the typical installers. The non-anti-slip surface finish makes this tape appropriate for dry, low-traffic floor marking applications rather than high-traction safety zones.
This tape is suited for light-duty aisle marking in warehouses, manufacturing floors, retail stockrooms, and similar interior environments where a clean, visible lane or boundary marker is needed. It performs best on smooth concrete, sealed floors, or tile surfaces that are clean and dry at the time of application. The 108-foot roll length covers full aisle runs without mid-run splicing in most standard bay layouts. Blue color coding is commonly used to indicate informational zones, pedestrian paths, or specific storage areas under common facility color-coding systems.
Designed for light-duty floor aisle marking applications on smooth, dry interior hard floor surfaces including sealed concrete, tile, and similar substrates. Not intended for wet, outdoor, or high-traffic forklift aisle applications.
Surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, and wax before application to ensure full adhesive contact. No special tools are required beyond a tape measure, chalk line, or straightedge for alignment, and a roller or firm hand pressure to seat the adhesive. This tape is a surface-applied product and does not require electrical isolation, lockout, or shutoff procedures. Remove existing adhesive residue from prior tape before applying to avoid lifting at the edges.
