3M 7000047474 Floor Aisle Marking Tape 1in 108ft Vinyl

Product Description

The 3M 7000047474 is a light-duty vinyl floor aisle marking tape designed to define walkways, work zones, and traffic lanes in industrial and commercial facilities. At 1 inch wide and 108 feet long, a single roll covers substantial linear footage for layout work. The vinyl construction measures 5.2 mil thick, providing a low-profile, durable surface that lies flat underfoot without creating a trip hazard. The solid white color delivers clear visual contrast on standard concrete and sealed floor surfaces. Facility maintenance technicians, safety coordinators, and warehouse operations staff typically apply this tape as part of 5S or OSHA-guided floor marking programs.

This tape is suited for light-duty interior applications where pedestrian and light cart traffic is the norm. Typical install scenarios include warehouse aisle definition, manufacturing cell boundaries, and storage area delineation on smooth, clean floor surfaces. The non-anti-slip surface finish is appropriate for flat, level floors where additional traction coating is not required. It is not rated for heavy forklift traffic or outdoor exposure.

Key Features

• Vinyl construction at 5.2 mil thickness — low-profile and flat-lying underfoot
• 1 inch wide format suits narrow boundary lines and detailed floor layout work
• 108-foot roll length minimizes splicing on longer runs
• Solid white color for high-contrast aisle and zone delineation
• Non-anti-slip surface — appropriate for level interior floors
• Light-duty traffic rating — suited for pedestrian and light cart use

Compatibility

Designed for use on smooth, clean interior floor surfaces including sealed concrete, epoxy-coated floors, and similar substrates in light-duty commercial and industrial environments.

Installation Notes

Surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, or wax before application for proper adhesion. A floor roller or similar hand tool is recommended to press the tape firmly along its full length and eliminate air pockets. No power tools or special trade licensing are required for application. Remove and replace tape sections promptly if edges begin to lift, as foot traffic can accelerate peel on poorly prepped surfaces.
