The 3M 7000046306 is a unitized deburring wheel designed for edge finishing, light deburring, and surface blending on metal workpieces. Built with aluminum oxide abrasive at a Density 5 construction, it delivers consistent cut and controlled compliance across the work surface. The 2-inch diameter and 1/4-inch face width suit compact inline and die grinder setups. Rated to 22,100 RPM, this wheel handles the speeds common in production and maintenance grinding applications. It is installed and used by machinists, fabricators, and maintenance technicians working with ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
This wheel fits centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands. The 1/4-inch center hole matches standard mandrel sizes used in those tools. Its unitized construction holds abrasive grain throughout the wheel body, so performance stays consistent as the wheel wears down. Typical applications include deburring drilled holes, blending weld seams, and finishing cut edges on sheet metal, tubing, and machined parts in both shop and field environments.
Designed for use with centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands equipped with a 1/4-inch mandrel arbor.
Mount the wheel on a compatible mandrel and confirm the tool RPM rating does not exceed 22,100 RPM before operation. Inspect the wheel for damage before each use and do not use a wheel that shows cracks, tears, or uneven wear. Always wear appropriate eye and face protection when operating rotary abrasive tools. Follow ANSI B7.1 guidelines for abrasive wheel mounting and safe use.
