The 3M 7000002060 is a disposable R95 particulate respirator built for environments where both airborne particles and nuisance levels of organic vapors may be present. It uses 3M proprietary advanced electrostatically charged microfiber filter media, which enhances particle capture while supporting easier breathing. A carbon filter layer provides additional relief against nuisance-level organic vapors. The collapse-resistant shell adds durability in demanding conditions. An adjustable noseclip and soft nose foam allow a custom, secure facial seal. The dual-strap design with dual-point attachment helps maintain fit during extended wear, and the lightweight construction promotes higher worker acceptance and longer wear time.
This respirator is suited for trade and industrial professionals working in foundry operations, laboratory settings, agriculture, petrochemical manufacturing, and automotive undercoating. It is also appropriate for grinding, bagging, sanding, sweeping, and general dusty operations in both oil and non-oil environments. The R95 rating makes it appropriate for use where oil aerosols may be present alongside non-oil particulates. Workers and safety managers in facilities subject to OSHA respiratory protection requirements will find this respirator compliant with NIOSH R95 standards. Its profile is designed to be compatible with a variety of protective eyewear and hearing protection.
Designed for use in oil and non-oil particulate environments; compatible with a variety of protective eyewear and hearing protection as an OEM-style disposable respirator for general industrial and trade applications.
This respirator is donned and fitted by the end user and does not require installation by a licensed trade. Before use, the wearer must read and follow all User Instructions included in the product packaging. A written respiratory protection program is required in the U.S. under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 before this respirator is used in the workplace. Perform a user seal check each time the respirator is put on to confirm a secure fit before entering a contaminated area.
