The 3M 7000000650 is a unitized deburring wheel designed for surface finishing, edge deburring, and light material removal on metal and similar workpieces. Built with aluminum oxide abrasive at a Density 5 medium grade, this wheel delivers consistent cut and finish characteristics throughout its service life. The unitized construction bonds the abrasive fibers together so the wheel wears evenly and continually exposes fresh abrasive as it works. Rated to 12,100 RPM, it is compatible with high-speed rotary tooling used in production and maintenance grinding applications. The 4-inch diameter and 1/4-inch face width make it suited for targeted deburring on tight profiles and edges.
This wheel is intended for use with centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands. It fits a standard 1/4-inch center hole arbor, which is common across a wide range of benchtop and handheld tooling platforms. Typical applications include deburring machined parts, blending weld seams, and cleaning up cut edges on ferrous and non-ferrous metals in fabrication, maintenance, and light production environments. The fine surface finish produced by the medium-grade aluminum oxide makes this wheel appropriate for finishing passes rather than aggressive stock removal.
Designed for use with centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands equipped with a 1/4-inch arbor.
Installation should be performed by a qualified operator familiar with abrasive wheel safety requirements. Before mounting, verify that the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 12,100 RPM rating marked on the wheel. Power down and de-energize the tool completely before changing wheels. Inspect the wheel for visible damage or cracks before each use and discard any wheel that shows signs of deterioration.
