The 3M 7000000352 is a coated abrasive sanding sheet designed for dry material removal on wood, metal, and composite surfaces. Part of the 3M 314D series, it uses aluminum oxide grain on a cloth backing to deliver consistent cut and durability across hand-sanding and block-sanding applications. At 320 grit, it falls into the very fine grade range, making it well suited for finish sanding, light stock removal between coats, and surface prep before priming or painting. Each sheet measures 9 x 11 inches and weighs approximately 0.07 pounds. It is a dry-use only sheet and is not load resistant, meaning it works best on clean, dry surfaces.
This sanding sheet is used in woodworking, metal fabrication, body shop prep, and general trade finishing work. The 9 x 11 inch format is a standard size that fits most hand-sanding blocks and can be cut down for detail work or orbital hand pads. Very fine 320 grit is commonly chosen for final surface smoothing before topcoat application or for scuff-sanding existing finishes prior to recoating. It is appropriate for both residential and light commercial shop environments where consistent finish quality is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard supply sheet for hand-sanding blocks, sanding pads, and similar manual abrasive applications requiring a 9 x 11 inch coated abrasive sheet.
No power tools or electrical shutoffs are required for hand-sanding sheet use. Always wear appropriate eye protection and a dust mask rated for fine particulate when sanding, as 320 grit operations generate fine airborne dust. Cut sheets to size using a straightedge and utility knife rather than tearing to maintain clean edges. Dispose of used sheets per local shop waste guidelines, especially when sanding materials that may generate hazardous dust.
