3M 23-1.5X30FT is a Scotch series 23 self-fusing ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) splicing tape for electrical splices, insulation, and jacketing. The tape is 1-1/2 in wide, 30 ft long and 30 mil thick with rubber adhesive and backing and a removable polyester snakeskin liner. It is rated for continuous use to 194 F (90 C), compatible with common cable insulations, and suitable for applications through 69 kV.

  • Self-fusing EPR construction with rubber adhesive and rubber backing; includes removable polyester snakeskin liner.
  • Dimensions: 1-1/2 in width, 30 ft length, 30 mil thickness; elongation up to 1000%.
  • Electrical ratings: voltage rating through 69 kV, dielectric strength 700 V/mil; continuous temperature to 194 F (90 C), emergency overload to 266 F (130 C).
