The SUPCO atp1 is an attic utility lift designed to hoist equipment and supplies through attic access openings without manual carrying. It handles loads up to 250 pounds and uses a 20-foot cable to reach attic spaces above standard ceiling heights. The lift adjusts from 14 inches to 24 inches, accommodating a range of hatch widths. An integrated locking hook secures the load during the lift. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general contractors use this tool to safely move equipment into attic-mounted systems, reducing injury risk and speeding up installs that would otherwise require two people on a ladder.
The atp1 is suited for residential and light commercial attic work where units or materials must be raised through ceiling hatches. Typical applications include positioning attic-mounted air handlers, ductwork sections, insulation equipment, or storage loads. The included equipment straps help secure irregular loads before lifting. A carrying case is included for transport between job sites.
Designed for use at standard residential and light commercial attic access hatches with openings between 14 inches and 24 inches wide.
Secure the lift across the attic hatch framing before loading any weight onto the hook. Verify the hatch framing is structurally sound and capable of supporting the combined weight of the lift and the load before use. Do not exceed the 250-pound rated capacity. A licensed HVAC technician or qualified tradesperson should confirm the load is properly strapped and the locking hook is fully engaged before initiating any lift.
