The SOUTHLAND 521-931HC is a black hex bushing used to connect two pipes of different sizes within a threaded piping system. The bushing steps down from a 1/2-inch connection to a 1/4-inch connection, making it a practical fitting for reducin pipe diameter without additional adapters. It is suitable for use with lubricating oils, greases, LP gases, and fuels. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this type of fitting in low-pressure piping assemblies.
