The SOUTHLAND 521-921HN is a black hex bushing designed to connect two threaded pipes of different sizes. The bushing reduces from a 3/8-inch female thread to a 1/4-inch male thread, making it a compact solution for transitioning between pipe sizes in a single fitting. Constructed in black-finish iron, it is suited for use in low-pressure piping systems carrying fuel gases, LP gas, lubricating oils, greases, and similar non-potable fluids. Licensed plumbers, gas fitters, and pipefitters install this type of fitting as part of standard threaded pipe assemblies. It is not rated or approved for potable water service.
