The MSA SAFETY 10207252 is a twin-leg, anti-corrosion, energy-absorbing lanyard designed to connect a worker's full-body harness to a structural anchor point and arrest a free fall before injury occurs. The twin-leg configuration allows continuous 100% tie-off, letting the worker move between anchor points without ever being unclipped. The urethane-coated webbing and hardware resist abrasion, moisture, and corrosive environments, making this lanyard suitable for chemical plants, offshore platforms, and other harsh jobsites. The integrated energy absorber deploys on impact to reduce fall-arrest forces transmitted to the worker's body. Iconography printed on the energy absorber pack aids quick visual identification of correct application.
This lanyard is intended for general industry fall protection where workers operate at heights and must maintain continuous attachment to a certified anchor point. Typical install scenarios include steel erection, roofing, bridge maintenance, and industrial facility work at elevation. The twin-leg design is especially appropriate when walking between anchor points along a structure where single-leg lanyards would create unprotected gaps. A licensed safety professional or competent person, as defined under OSHA 1926 Subpart M and 1910 Subpart D, should verify anchor point ratings and system compatibility before use.

Installation and inspection must be performed by a competent person as defined by OSHA fall protection standards. Before connecting the lanyard, verify the anchor point has a rated capacity of at least 5,000 pounds or is engineered to ANSI Z359 specifications. Inspect the webbing, hardware, and energy absorber pack for damage, cuts, or prior deployment before each use — a deployed energy absorber must be removed from service immediately. Follow the harness and anchor system manufacturer instructions for compatible connector types and D-ring configurations.
