The MSA SAFETY 10193129 is a V-Series Standard twin-leg adjustable energy absorbing lanyard designed for fall protection in industrial and construction environments. This tie-back lanyard extends to 6 feet and features 36C snaphooks on both legs, providing secure attachment to anchor points, structures, or tie-back rings. The integrated energy absorber deploys on shock-load events to reduce the forces transmitted to the worker and the anchor system. Licensed fall protection professionals and safety-trained workers in construction, utilities, and general industry are the primary installers and users of this equipment. It meets ANSI Z359.13 certification requirements for self-retracting devices and lanyards.
This lanyard is suited for residential and commercial construction, industrial maintenance, and utility work where workers must move between anchor points or require 100 percent tie-off. The twin-leg configuration allows the user to maintain continuous connection during transitions. The adjustable design accommodates varied working distances within the 6-foot range, and the 36C snaphooks are compatible with standard anchor rings and structural steel connections.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment lanyard for personal fall arrest systems requiring a twin-leg, energy absorbing lanyard with ANSI Z359.13 compliance.
Installation and inspection of fall protection equipment must be performed by a competent person as defined under OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502 and applicable ANSI Z359 standards. Before use, inspect the lanyard, snaphooks, and energy absorber housing for wear, damage, or deployment indicators. Always connect to a rated anchor point capable of supporting the required arrest forces. A lanyard that has arrested a fall must be removed from service immediately and not reused.
