The MSA 815358 is an ammonia and methylamine respirator cartridge designed for use with compatible MSA half-mask and full-facepiece respirators. Built to the Advantage 200 Series platform, this cartridge filters ammonia and methylamine vapors from the breathing air stream, protecting workers in environments where these chemical hazards are present. Each package contains two cartridges. The cartridge meets NIOSH 42 CFR Part 84 standards and is color-coded green for easy identification during donning and changeout. Licensed HVAC technicians, refrigeration mechanics, water treatment personnel, and industrial hygienists are the primary installers and end users.

This cartridge is suited for residential and commercial applications where ammonia exposure is a documented hazard, including ammonia-based refrigeration systems, agricultural settings, water treatment facilities, and chemical processing environments. Installation Notes

Cartridge installation and replacement should be performed by a qualified person following the respirator manufacturer's written instructions and the employer's respiratory protection program per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134. Before changing cartridges, move to a clean-air environment and remove the respirator. Thread or snap each cartridge firmly into the facepiece inlet ports until fully seated, and verify the seal before re-entering the hazard area. Replace both cartridges simultaneously and follow a documented changeout schedule based on exposure levels and service life guidelines.
