The ICP EVDWX24M14A is a cased, vertical-mount V-coil evaporator coil designed for residential split-system air conditioning and heat pump applications. Built for use with R-410A refrigerant, this 2-ton coil installs in the supply plenum above or beside a furnace or air handler in an upflow configuration. The cased design simplifies field installation by providing a factory-sealed cabinet that reduces the need for field fabrication and helps maintain airflow integrity through the coil assembly. Licensed HVAC technicians handle the installation and refrigerant connections.
This evaporator coil is suited for residential cooling systems where a vertical cased coil is required. The V-coil geometry increases surface area within a compact cabinet footprint, supporting efficient heat transfer at the 2-ton capacity range. The coil cabinet measures 11.188 inches by 14.1875 inches by 14.6875 inches, making it compatible with standard 14-inch wide furnace cabinets common in residential new construction and replacement applications.

Installation must be performed by an EPA Section 608 certified HVAC technician due to the handling of R-410A refrigerant. Shut down and disconnect power to the air handler or furnace and the outdoor unit before beginning coil installation. Follow all local mechanical codes and manufacturer guidelines for refrigerant line connections, drain pan piping, and coil sealing. Do not braze refrigerant connections without first purging with dry nitrogen to prevent internal oxidation scaling.
