The ICP ENDWX24L17A is a cased, vertical N-configuration evaporator coil designed for residential split-system air conditioning and heat pump applications using R-410A refrigerant. This coil mounts in the vertical position above or below the air handler or furnace, where it absorbs heat from return air before it circulates back into the conditioned space. At 2 tons nominal capacity, it pairs with a matched outdoor condensing unit to complete the refrigerant circuit. The cased enclosure provides a self-contained cabinet ready for installation into the supply plenum, reducing sheet metal fabrication time at the job site. HVAC technicians handle installation as part of a new system setup or a coil replacement service call.
This coil is suited for residential split-system installations where a vertical N-coil configuration is required. The factory casing makes it compatible with standard plenum connections on upflow or downflow furnaces and air handlers. At 17 inches wide, 10.0625 inches deep, and 14.625 inches tall, it fits into common equipment closets and alcove installations. Technicians should verify cabinet width and plenum dimensions before ordering to confirm physical fit in the existing equipment cabinet.

Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding an EPA Section 608 certification for handling refrigerants. Follow local mechanical codes and manufacturer instructions for drain pan connection, condensate line slope, and refrigerant line brazing or flare connections. Do not energize the system until all refrigerant connections are leak-checked and the system has been properly evacuated and charged per equipment specifications.
