The EWC CONTROLS END-14X10-MA15S is a motorized zone damper built for forced-air HVAC zoning systems. Part of the ND series Ultra-Zone damper line, it uses a power open/power closed, 3-wire motor configuration to deliver precise airflow control across individual zones. The motor produces 17 inch-pounds of torque and includes a manual gear release for service convenience. An onboard LED display allows technicians to verify damper position during commissioning without additional test equipment. Nylon bushings reduce operating noise, and the overlapping blade design delivers a 97% leak-proof rating for accurate zone isolation.
This damper is sized at 14 x 10 inches and is intended for residential and light commercial duct systems where multi-zone temperature control is required. It is designed to integrate with the EWC Controls Ultra-Zone zoning system but is also suitable for comparable low-voltage zoning control applications. The quick-connecting terminal block eliminates wire nuts and speeds up field wiring. Licensed HVAC technicians typically install this damper during new zoning system installations or when retrofitting existing ductwork for zone control.
Designed to integrate with the EWC Controls Ultra-Zone zoning system. Also suitable as an OEM-style motorized damper replacement in residential and light commercial forced-air duct systems using low-voltage zone controls.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with low-voltage zoning controls and duct system modification. Disconnect power to the air handler and zone control board before wiring the damper. Ensure duct sizing matches the 14 x 10 inch damper opening before securing the unit in place. Follow the zoning control manufacturer wiring diagram and applicable local mechanical codes during termination at the control board.
