The EWC CONTROLS END-10X24-MA15S is a motorized zone damper engineered for ducted HVAC zoning systems. Sized at 10 x 24 inches, this ND-series damper operates on a power open/power closed, 3-wire configuration and delivers 17 inch-pounds of torque through its actuator motor. It is designed for integration with multi-zone residential and light-commercial HVAC systems where precise airflow control across individual zones is required. Licensed HVAC technicians are the primary installers, typically during new construction or zoning retrofits. Nylon bushings reduce operational noise, and an onboard LED display lets technicians confirm damper position at a glance during commissioning and service calls.
This damper is suited for residential and light-commercial forced-air systems that use zoning controls to independently manage airflow to separate areas of a structure. The END-10X24-MA15S fits into rectangular duct runs and is compatible with the EWC CONTROLS Ultra-Zone zoning system. Its quick-connecting terminal block simplifies field wiring by eliminating wire nuts, and the manual gear release allows the blade to be positioned manually when needed. Overlapping blades and a strong positive off-state motor position contribute to a 97 percent leak-proof rating, supporting accurate zone-by-zone airflow management.
Designed for use with the EWC CONTROLS Ultra-Zone zoning system. Intended as an OEM-style motorized zone damper for ducted residential and light-commercial forced-air HVAC applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with ducted zoning systems. De-energize the air handler and zoning control panel before wiring or mounting the damper. The UL-listed motor and NEMA Class 2 certification mean low-voltage wiring practices apply; consult the control panel wiring diagram for proper terminal assignments. Do not force the blade manually without engaging the manual gear release, as doing so may damage the actuator.
