The DAKOTA SOURCING 13106 is a copper coupling with a roll stop design, sized at 3/4 inch outer diameter and 5/8 inch inner diameter. It is used to join sections of copper tubing in plumbing, HVAC refrigerant piping, and hydronic heating systems. The roll stop shoulder prevents the fitting from sliding past the intended joint depth, ensuring consistent solder joint length every time. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers and HVAC refrigeration technicians working with soft or hard drawn copper tubing in both residential and light commercial applications.
This coupling is suited for standard copper tubing joints in water supply lines, refrigerant lines, and hydronic piping runs. The roll stop feature is especially useful in high-volume installation work where uniform joint depth speeds up the soldering process and reduces the chance of a short or blown joint. It is appropriate for both new construction and replacement service work wherever 3/4 inch OD copper tubing is used.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use copper coupling for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant, and hydronic piping systems using 3/4 inch OD copper tubing.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC refrigeration technician following applicable local plumbing codes and IFGC guidelines. Shut off water supply or recover refrigerant and depressurize the system fully before cutting into any existing line. Clean and flux all mating surfaces before soldering or brazing; do not skip flux on copper-to-copper joints. Allow the joint to cool completely before restoring system pressure and inspecting for leaks.
