The DAKOTA SOURCING 13105 is a copper roll-stop coupling designed for joining copper tubing in plumbing and HVAC refrigerant line applications. With a 5/8 inch outer diameter and 1/2 inch inner diameter, this coupling provides a reliable, pressure-rated connection between sections of copper tubing. The roll-stop shoulder prevents the pipe from being inserted too far, ensuring consistent joint depth and a properly formed solder or braze joint every time. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians use this type of fitting as a standard component in both new construction and service work.
This coupling is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems, refrigerant lines, and hydronic applications where 1/2 inch copper tubing is specified. The roll-stop design is particularly useful in tight spaces where visual confirmation of pipe seating depth is difficult. It is compatible with standard 1/2 inch Type K, L, or M copper tubing with a 5/8 inch OD dimension.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting for standard 1/2 inch copper tubing systems with a 5/8 inch outer diameter in residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IFGC requirements. Shut off the water supply or isolate the refrigerant system and relieve pressure before cutting into any line. Clean and deburr pipe ends, then apply flux before soldering or brazing the joint. Do not use open flame near flammable materials and ensure adequate ventilation when brazing.
