The DAKOTA SOURCING 13048 is a 45-degree copper street elbow designed for sweat-connection plumbing systems. It features a fitting (FTG) male end on one side and a copper (C) socket end on the other, allowing it to connect directly into a fitting without a separate coupling. The outer diameter is 0.75 inches and the inner diameter is 0.625 inches. This type of fitting is standard in residential and light commercial copper pipe installations where a 45-degree directional change is needed within a tight run.
This street elbow is used in copper water supply lines, hydronic heating systems, and other fluid distribution applications where space is limited and a street-pattern fitting eliminates an extra joint. The FTG x C configuration makes it compatible with standard sweat-soldering assembly methods used by licensed plumbers and pipefitters on both new construction and retrofit work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 3/4 inch copper tube plumbing systems using standard sweat-solder connections.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter using standard copper sweat-soldering tools including a torch, flux, and lead-free solder as required by most local codes. Shut off the water supply and fully drain the line before cutting or desoldering any existing fittings. Clean and flux all mating surfaces thoroughly before applying heat to ensure a leak-free joint. Work must comply with applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements for potable water systems.
