The DAKOTA SOURCING 13024 is a 90-degree copper street elbow designed for sweat-solder connections in residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC refrigerant or hydronic piping systems. It features a fitting-to-copper (FTG x C) end configuration, with a 7/8-inch outer diameter and a 3/4-inch inner diameter. The male fitting end inserts directly into a standard copper fitting socket, eliminating the need for an additional coupling and saving space in tight rough-in conditions. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians use this fitting to make direction changes in copper tubing runs.
This street elbow is suited for 3/4-inch copper tubing applications, including domestic water supply, hydronic heating loops, and refrigerant piping where a 90-degree directional change is needed. The FTG x C end pattern allows the male end to seat into a standard sweat fitting socket, making it practical in confined spaces where back-to-back fittings would otherwise be required.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) or applicable local codes. Shut off and depressurize the water or refrigerant system completely before cutting into any existing line. Clean all mating surfaces with emery cloth and apply appropriate flux before soldering; follow local code requirements for solder alloy type, particularly on potable water systems. Allow the joint to cool fully before restoring system pressure.
