The DAKOTA SOURCING 13020 is a 90-degree copper street elbow designed for use in plumbing and refrigeration tubing systems. With a 3/8-inch outer diameter (OD) fitting end and a 1/4-inch inner diameter (ID) cup end, this fitting connects directly into a socket without requiring an additional coupling. The FTG x C configuration allows it to be sweat-soldered into copper tubing lines, making it a standard choice for licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians working on tight-space directional changes in copper piping runs.
This street elbow is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, refrigeration, and HVAC copper tubing applications where a 90-degree directional change is needed in a compact space. The street elbow configuration eliminates one fitting connection point compared to a standard elbow, which is useful when working in confined areas or when minimizing the number of solder joints is a priority. It is typically installed wherever a direct male-to-socket copper transition is required at a right angle.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply or isolate the refrigerant circuit and relieve system pressure before cutting into any existing line. Clean and flux all mating surfaces before applying heat for sweat-soldering. Allow the joint to cool fully before restoring system pressure or flow.
