The B K/MUELLER INDS(IMPORT) 511-401HN is a 1/4 inch galvanized pipe cap used to close off the end of a threaded pipe. The hot-dip galvanized coating provides corrosion resistance suited to water supply, gas distribution, and general piping systems. This cap threads directly onto a male-threaded pipe end, creating a secure, sealed termination. It is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters in both residential and light commercial applications where a threaded steel fitting is required to cap an unused or temporarily inactive line.

This cap is well suited for water supply and gas piping rough-in work where branch lines need to be temporarily or permanently capped. Installation Notes
