The ABB INSTALLATION PRODUCTS UA9FJB is a 90-degree Schedule 40 PVC elbow designed for directional changes in conduit and piping runs. Sized at 2 inches by 36 inches with a special radius sweep, it reduces friction and eases wire pull-through in electrical conduit applications. The belled end simplifies joining to standard Schedule 40 PVC conduit without a separate coupling. At 3.97 pounds, it is lightweight enough for one-person handling during installation. Licensed electricians and conduit installers rely on this fitting for clean, code-compliant direction changes in both underground and above-grade runs.
This elbow is suited for residential and commercial electrical conduit systems where a long-radius 90-degree sweep is required. The special radius design is commonly specified in underground direct-burial conduit runs and concrete-encased duct banks where pull tension on conductors must be minimized. It is also used in exposed or concealed above-grade conduit installations requiring a smooth directional transition. The belled end accepts solvent-cement connections to standard 2-inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for 2-inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit systems in electrical raceway applications.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements for PVC conduit systems. De-energize all circuits in the conduit run before pulling or working with conductors. Solvent-cement the plain end using PVC conduit cement and primer per manufacturer instructions, and allow full cure time before pulling wire. Do not expose Schedule 40 PVC fittings to temperatures or mechanical loads outside the rating of the conduit system.
