The ABB INSTALLATION PRODUCTS LN43DA-CTN is a straight, non-metallic liquid tight connector designed for 1/2 inch trade size conduit. Built from PVC, this fitting uses a one-piece body design that requires no disassembly of components before installation. The integrated grip is strong enough to eliminate the need for a separate compression nut, reducing parts count and speeding up the pull. The PVC locknut construction provides reliable protection against water, oil, and dust ingress, making it suited for wet or contaminated environments. Electricians and conduit installers use this type of connector where non-metallic liquid tight flexible conduit terminates at enclosures, junction boxes, or control panels.
This connector is appropriate for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations where liquid tight flexible non-metallic conduit is routed to motors, HVAC equipment, pumps, and other machinery requiring conduit protection from moisture and particulates. The straight body profile fits standard knockout openings and works in applications where a direct inline entry is preferred over an angled approach. It is sold in a package of 30 pieces, making it practical for larger conduit runs or stocking a service vehicle.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit connector for 1/2 inch trade size non-metallic liquid tight flexible conduit systems used in residential and commercial electrical installations.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements for liquid tight flexible non-metallic conduit terminations. De-energize all circuits and verify absence of voltage before opening any enclosure or junction box. Insert the conduit into the one-piece connector body and tighten the locknut securely against the enclosure wall to maintain the liquid tight seal. Do not overtighten the locknut, as PVC fittings can crack under excessive torque.
