The ABB INSTALLATION PRODUCTS E943GR-CTN is a PVC terminal adapter designed to transition a 1.25-inch PVC conduit run into a standard junction box entry. The slip female end accepts a plain-end conduit without threading, allowing for a clean, solvent-weld connection on the conduit side. The opposite end threads directly into a knockout on a junction box or enclosure. Licensed electricians and conduit installers use this fitting during raceway rough-in work in both new construction and retrofit applications where PVC conduit terminates at a box.
This terminal adapter is suited for low-voltage and power-distribution PVC conduit systems in residential and light commercial electrical installations. It is sold in a package quantity of 20 units, making it appropriate for projects requiring multiple conduit terminations at panels, junction boxes, or device enclosures. The slip female entry accommodates standard 1.25-inch Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 PVC conduit ends.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting compatible with standard 1.25-inch PVC conduit systems terminating at junction boxes and electrical enclosures with standard knockout openings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for PVC conduit systems. De-energize all circuits and confirm power is off before working inside any junction box or enclosure. Apply approved PVC conduit solvent cement to the slip female socket and conduit end before joining; do not use threaded-pipe compounds on the slip side. Hand-tighten the threaded male end into the knockout locknut before securing with a conduit wrench to avoid cracking the PVC body.
