The ABB INSTALLATION PRODUCTS B520P-UPC is a new-work round ceiling box designed for light fixture and junction box applications in residential and light commercial construction. The box measures 4 inches in diameter and 2-1/4 inches in depth, providing 20 cubic inches (CUIN) of interior volume to meet wire-fill requirements. Six integral clamps secure incoming cables without the need for separate connectors. Captive nails allow direct mounting to framing members during rough-in, and a grounding lug screw is factory attached for code-compliant equipment grounding. This box is not rated for ceiling fan installations.

This ceiling box is intended for new construction framing installations where the box is mounted before drywall is applied. It is suited for standard residential and light commercial branch circuits feeding flush or pendant light fixtures. The fixture stud spacing accommodates canopies with mounting points between 2-3/4 inches and 3-1/2 inches apart, covering most common residential fixture configurations.
