The ABB INSTALLATION PRODUCTS 12007-100 is a 3/4-inch Electrical Non-Metallic Tubing (ENT) sold in a 100-foot roll. Known in the trade as Flex Plus Blue or smurf tube, this highly flexible conduit is designed for routing power conductors through walls and concrete encasements in new construction and retrofit applications. The tubing meets UL and CSA listing requirements, making it code-acceptable for the installations where ENT is permitted. Electricians use it where rigid conduit is impractical and where the flexibility of the material simplifies routing through framed assemblies before concrete is poured.
This ENT tubing is well suited for residential and light commercial electrical rough-in work. Common applications include in-wall wiring runs, concrete encasement of power conductors, and conduit bends through tight framing cavities. The 100-foot roll length reduces the number of couplings needed on longer runs, which is a practical advantage on larger framing jobs. The blue color is a standard field identifier for ENT, helping inspectors and other trades distinguish it from other conduit types on the job site.
Designed for use with standard 3/4-inch ENT fittings, couplings, and connectors compatible with Electrical Non-Metallic Tubing per applicable NEC requirements for ENT installations.
ENT must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 362 and any applicable local codes. Verify that ENT is a permitted wiring method for the specific application and occupancy type before installation. Ensure all power is de-energized at the panel before pulling conductors through the tubing. Use only fittings and connectors listed for use with ENT to maintain the integrity of the raceway system.
