The ABB INSTALLATION PRODUCTS 12005-200 is a 1/2-inch Electrical Non-Metallic Tubing (ENT) sold in a 200-foot roll. ENT is a highly flexible, corrugated plastic conduit designed to route and protect power conductors inside walls, concrete encasements, and other concealed locations. This product is commonly known in the trade as Smurf tube or Flex Plus Blue due to its blue color. It is installed by licensed electricians on residential and commercial projects where a lightweight, flexible raceway is required in lieu of rigid conduit. UL and CSA listings confirm compliance with recognized safety standards.
This ENT conduit is suited for in-wall rough-in wiring and concrete encasement applications in both residential and light commercial construction. Its flexibility allows it to be routed through framed cavities, poured concrete slabs, and masonry assemblies without the need for conduit benders. Electricians typically use it for branch-circuit power conductors in locations where the raceway will remain concealed after construction is complete. It is not rated for exposed or outdoor direct-sunlight installation.
Designed as an OEM-style ENT conduit for use with standard 1/2-inch ENT fittings and couplings in concealed residential and commercial electrical rough-in applications.
Installation must comply with NEC Article 362, which governs Electrical Non-Metallic Tubing. A licensed electrician should perform all conduit installation work. De-energize all circuits in the work area before pulling conductors through the tubing. ENT requires support and securing per code intervals and must use listed ENT-compatible fittings at all termination and junction points.
