The ZURN Q4PC100 is a white PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) tubing designed for use in potable water distribution, radiant heating, and hydronic systems. With a 3/4 inch inner diameter and 7/8 inch outer diameter, this flexible tubing is well suited for both supply and return runs in residential and light commercial plumbing installations. PEX tubing resists scale buildup, handles freeze-expansion better than rigid pipe, and is compatible with a wide range of crimp, clamp, and expansion fitting systems. Licensed plumbers and hydronic technicians are the primary installers of this product.
This tubing is used in residential and light commercial applications including domestic hot and cold water distribution, under-slab radiant floor heating loops, baseboard hydronic systems, and snow-melt piping. The 3/4 inch size is a common main distribution line diameter, making it appropriate for trunk-and-branch layouts as well as home-run manifold configurations. The white jacket helps distinguish this tubing in multi-line installations where color-coding by temperature or zone is common practice.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation tubing for residential and light commercial PEX plumbing and radiant heating systems using standard 3/4 inch PEX fittings and connection methods.
PEX tubing is installed by licensed plumbers in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting or joining tubing. Use the correct tool type matched to the fitting system in use — crimp rings require a calibrated crimp tool, and expansion fittings require an expansion tool sized for 3/4 inch PEX. Avoid kinking the tubing during routing; use bend supports or bend guides where tight turns are required.
