The ZOELLER ZOEL-30-0021 is a 2-inch PVC slip x slip check valve union designed to prevent backflow of water and sewer gas in residential and commercial plumbing systems. The full 2-inch flow design meets BOCA P.604.2 full flow pump code requirements. The valve body is PVC and incorporates a neoprene gasket and flapper weighted with heavy stainless steel backing plates and a stainless steel rivet. Stainless steel clamps secure the flexible neoprene union connection. No pipe threading is required, simplifying installation and reducing labor time. Licensed plumbers and pump service technicians are the primary installers for this fitting.

This check valve is suited for vertical or horizontal line installation in plumbing systems where backflow prevention and sewer gas blocking are required. The slip connection design fits over ABS, PVC, steel, and copper piping. For pressure systems up to 25 PSI (57 feet of head), the valve can be installed using solvent-welded couplings with part number 30-0023. This fitting also meets the requirements of the Wisconsin Uniform Plumbing Code.
