The ZOELLER ZOEL-267-0054 is a 1/2 HP submersible cast iron sewage pump designed for automatic residential and light commercial sewage and effluent transfer applications. Built to ASTM Class 25 cast iron standards, the pump housing and switch case deliver long-term durability in harsh sewage environments. The unit operates on 230 volts, single phase, drawing 5.5 amps at 1725 RPM. A piggyback variable level float switch allows the pump to cycle automatically, with an on point of 12 inches and an off point of 4 inches. The non-clogging vortex impeller is engineered plastic with metal inserts and passes solids up to 2 inches in diameter. Licensed plumbers and pump service technicians install this unit in sewage pits as a reliable automatic waste transfer solution.
This pump is rated for sewage, effluent, and sewage waste transfer service. It is suited for residential basements, septic holding tanks, and light commercial sewage lift applications where automatic operation is required. The 2-inch NPT discharge accommodates standard sewage piping. The unit is completely submersible, rated NEMA 6, and carries a UL/CSA listing. A 15-foot UL Listed 3-wire neoprene cord and plug are included. The cast iron base adds stability in the wet well, and the corrosion-resistant powder-coated epoxy finish protects against the chemical exposure common in sewage service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit pump for residential and light commercial sewage lift and effluent transfer systems requiring a 2-inch NPT discharge submersible pump with automatic float operation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the IPC. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before servicing or installing the pump. Verify the wet well dimensions accommodate the 14-9/32-inch pump height and allow proper float travel between the 4-inch off point and 12-inch on point. Do not run the pump dry, and confirm the discharge piping and check valve are correctly sized for a 2-inch NPT connection before startup.
