The ZOELLER ZOEL-267-0004 is a non-automatic, manually operated cast iron sewage pump rated at 1/2 horsepower and 230 volts. Designed for below-grade sewage lift and waste transfer applications, it delivers 128 GPM at 5 feet of head and maintains flow through a shutoff head of 21.5 feet. The cast iron construction handles solids up to 2 inches in size, making it suitable for raw sewage, effluent, and general waste transfer. It runs at 1725 RPM on a single-phase motor drawing 5.5 amps. A 15-foot UL Listed 3-wire neoprene cord and plug are included. Licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors are the primary installers for this type of submersible sewage pump.
This pump is built for residential and light commercial sewage lift station applications where manual operation is required. Typical installations include basement sewage ejector pits, effluent transfer systems, and waste holding tank discharge. The 2-inch discharge and 2-inch solids-handling capacity make it well suited for raw sewage service. Compatible float switches for automatic operation include the Switch-Mate Variable Level Float Switch (230V), available with a standard cord or a 20-foot cord, as well as the 15-foot Double Piggyback Variable Level Float Switch (230V). These switches are sold separately and can be paired to convert this unit to automatic operation.
Compatible float switch options include the Switch-Mate Variable Level Float Switch (230V, part 10-0035), the Switch-Mate Variable Level Float Switch with 20-foot cord (230V, part 10-0706), and the 15-foot Double Piggyback Variable Level Float Switch (230V, part 10-1965), all sold separately.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC requirements for sewage ejector systems. Disconnect and lock out all power to the wet well or sump pit before handling the pump or float switch wiring. The 2-inch discharge connection must be properly supported and fitted with a check valve and union as required by code. Do not operate this pump dry, as it requires submersion for cooling and seal integrity.
