The ZOELLER ZOEL-264-0003, also known as the Model D264 Waste-Mate, is a fully automatic, float-operated sewage pump designed to remove raw sewage and wastewater in residential sewage ejector applications. Rated at 0.4 HP and 230 volts, single phase, the D264 runs on a 10-foot cord and activates automatically via a solid white polypropylene float that cannot become waterlogged. The engineered plastic vortex impeller is capable of passing 2-inch spherical solids, reducing the risk of clogging and unplanned downtime. The pump housing, motor housing, and switch case are all cast iron. Identification tags, float guard, handle, switch arm, and hardware are stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
The ZOEL-264-0003 is intended for residential sewage ejector pits where raw sewage and wastewater must be lifted to a gravity drain or municipal sewer connection. The automatic float switch eliminates the need for manual activation, making it well suited for below-grade bathrooms, laundry rooms, and utility spaces where sewage must be pumped up and away. Licensed plumbers typically install this pump as part of a complete ejector system that includes a sealed basin and a check valve on the discharge line.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation sewage pump for residential sewage ejector applications requiring an automatic float-operated submersible pump.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Disconnect and lock out electrical power before handling or servicing the pump. The pump must be installed in a properly sealed ejector basin with a functioning check valve on the discharge line to prevent backflow. Do not run the pump dry, and confirm the float has unrestricted travel within the basin before placing the system in service.
