The ZKTECO atlas260 is a two-door access control panel designed for commercial and light industrial installations where reliable, server-free door management is required. The board supports built-in fingerprint recognition and card reader input, allowing facilities to enforce multi-factor or single-factor entry at up to two doors from a single controller. Web-based configuration eliminates the need for a dedicated server, reducing setup time and infrastructure cost. The atlas260 stores up to 5,000 users and 10,000 event records onboard, making it practical for mid-size deployments where local data retention matters.
The atlas260 fits installations where network-connected access control is preferred over standalone keypads or legacy wired systems. It connects via standard network interface or Power over Ethernet, which simplifies cabling in new construction or retrofit scenarios. Advanced functions including lockdown mode, multi-card entry requirements, and mobile access credentials are supported natively, giving security integrators and low-voltage contractors the flexibility to configure layered access policies without third-party middleware.
Designed as an OEM-style controller for two-door access control applications supporting fingerprint and card-based credential systems.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed low-voltage contractor or security systems integrator. Power down all associated door hardware and disconnect network connections before servicing or replacing the board. PoE installations should confirm switch port wattage meets the panel requirements before connecting. Wiring practices should conform to applicable local electrical codes and NEC low-voltage guidelines.
