The ZING GREEN SAFETY 7286 is a steel group lockout box designed to support multi-technician lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance and repair operations. The box holds up to 7 padlocks simultaneously, allowing each worker on a shared job to apply their own personal lock before work begins. Constructed from steel, it provides durable protection for the master lockout key or device inside. The unit measures 6.25 inches high, 4.25 inches deep, and 4.25 inches wide, making it compact enough for use in confined equipment areas while still accommodating a full crew lockout setup.
This group lockout box is suited for industrial, commercial, and trade environments where multiple technicians must simultaneously lock out a single energy source before beginning service. Typical applications include HVAC systems, electrical panels, mechanical equipment, and plumbing shutoffs requiring coordinated group isolation procedures. The red color provides high visibility at the point of service, helping supervisors and workers quickly confirm that a lockout is active.
Designed as a standard group lockout box compatible with most commercial padlocks used in LOTO programs across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical trades.
Group lockout boxes are deployed by safety-qualified personnel following site-specific LOTO procedures. Before use, all energy sources must be isolated and de-energized per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements. Each authorized worker applies their individual padlock to the box before the master key is secured inside. The box should be positioned at or near the energy isolation point and removed only after all individual locks have been withdrawn by their respective workers.
