The ZING GREEN SAFETY 7105 is a small plug lockout device designed to prevent electrical cords from being inserted into outlets during maintenance, repair, or lockout/tagout (LOTO) operations. Made in the USA from UL Validated recycled plastic, the device measures 3.5 inches L x 2.5 inches W. The universal fit closure accepts cords up to 0.5 inches in diameter and plugs up to 2 inches W x 3 inches L. Anti-pry tabs secure the lid for tamper resistance, and the tapered body allows units to be nested for compact storage. A bilingual English and Spanish instructional label is included.
The 7105 is suited for industrial, commercial, and facility maintenance environments where LOTO procedures are required on electrical equipment. Electricians, maintenance technicians, and safety coordinators use this device during servicing of equipment with standard electrical plugs. The recycled plastic construction supports sustainability programs, LEED credits, and green purchasing initiatives. The compact size makes it practical for both fixed maintenance stations and portable lockout kits.
Designed as an OEM-style lockout device for standard residential and commercial electrical outlets, compatible with plugs up to 2 inches W x 3 inches L and cords up to 0.5 inches in diameter.
Installation and application of this device should follow established LOTO procedures in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 and applicable facility safety protocols. Before applying the lockout, the connected equipment must be de-energized and the plug must be physically removed from the outlet. Secure with at least one padlock through the hasp holes to prevent unauthorized re-energization. Maintenance technicians and electricians should verify proper closure of the anti-pry lid before leaving equipment unattended.
