The Z-FLEX 2zr321f0601 is a stainless steel rigid chimney liner section rated for all-fuel applications. It measures 6 inches in diameter and 1 foot in length, making it a standard building-block segment for full liner assemblies. The pipe seam is fusion welded, producing a smoother interior finish and tighter fit between sections compared to traditional rolled or lock-seam construction. Chimney contractors and HVAC technicians install this liner when relining deteriorated masonry flues or building new venting runs for gas, oil, wood, or propane appliances. Insulation is required when this liner is used in wood-burning applications.
This liner section is suited for residential and light commercial chimney relining projects. It is used in conjunction with additional liner sections, top plates, tee connectors, and insulation kits to complete a full venting system. The 6-inch diameter accommodates a wide range of heating appliance flue collar sizes. It is typically installed in vertical chimney chases for furnaces, boilers, fireplaces, wood stoves, and water heaters where the existing flue is damaged, undersized, or non-compliant with current venting codes.
Designed as an all-fuel chimney liner section compatible with standard 6-inch rigid liner systems for residential and light commercial venting installations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified chimney technician or licensed HVAC contractor in accordance with local building codes and the appliance manufacturer venting requirements. Shut down and allow the connected heating appliance to cool completely before beginning any liner work. Liner sections must be properly secured, connected with approved fittings, and insulated as required by fuel type and local code. Never omit insulation on wood-burning liner installations, as uninsulated liners in this application can result in creosote accumulation and inadequate draft.
