The YOUNGSTOWN 12-3265-60-XXL is a paired set of unlined arc flash gloves rated for a maximum arc flash protection of 23 calories per square centimeter, meeting Hazard Risk Category 3 requirements. Constructed from grain goatskin leather with a double-layer leather palm, these gloves are built for licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians working in energized environments. The gloves carry ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level 2 and Abrasion Resistance Level 2 ratings, making them suited for tasks that combine arc hazard exposure with mechanical hand protection demands. They comply with ASTM F2675 for arc-rated hand protection and are sold as a pair.
These gloves are designed for use in commercial and industrial electrical applications where arc flash PPE is required by NFPA 70E or site-specific safety programs. Typical installation and service scenarios include working on switchgear, panel boards, motor control centers, and other energized electrical equipment at HRC 3 exposure levels. The 2XL sizing accommodates larger hand profiles, and the unlined interior allows for a direct fit without added bulk. Electrical contractors, industrial electricians, and plant maintenance crews are the primary users.
Designed as an arc flash PPE glove for use in HRC 3 electrical work environments requiring ASTM F2675-compliant hand protection at the 2XL hand size.
Arc flash gloves must be inspected for cuts, holes, or degradation before each use and should never be worn if the protective integrity is compromised. Always follow your site arc flash hazard analysis and NFPA 70E PPE selection guidelines when determining appropriate glove ratings for a given task. Donning and doffing should be performed in a de-energized area where possible. Leather arc-rated gloves should be stored away from heat, oil, and sharp objects to preserve material integrity.
