The YALE AU4707LN-626 is a Grade 1 entrance lever lockset designed for commercial and residential doors ranging from 1-3/8 to 1-3/4 inches in thickness. Built on the 4700LN series platform, it features an all-steel chassis with a satin chrome finish and a key-in-lever cylinder compatible with the Schlage keyway. The 2-3/4 inch backset makes it suitable for standard door prep. Freewheeling trim and a non-handed design reduce installation complexity and allow the lockset to fit either hand without modification. Licensed plumbers and commercial door hardware installers working on institutional or light commercial projects will find this unit meets ANSI/BHMA A156.2 Series 4000 requirements.
This entrance lockset is appropriate for light-duty to medium-duty applications including office entries, commercial storefronts, and institutional interior or exterior access doors. The key-in-lever function allows free egress from the inside while requiring a key for entry from the outside. The non-handed configuration and Grade 1 rating make it a practical choice for facilities managers and door hardware contractors specifying hardware for multi-door commercial projects. The Schlage-compatible cylinder type allows keying into existing Schlage-keyway master key systems where applicable.
