The Xylem 171702 is a combination float type low water cutoff and pump controller designed for steam boilers with a separate water column. This unit features automatic reset functionality and includes two 120 volt bi-metal snap switches. One single pole, single throw switch manages pump control, while another single pole, double throw switch handles low water cut-off and alarm actuation. It is suitable for commercial and industrial low or high-pressure steam boiler applications.
