Product Description
The XTRWELD WTZIRC3062 is a 0.3% Zirconiated Tungsten Electrode designed for gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW). This ground electrode, with AWS A5.12 EWZr-1 specification, measures 1/16 in. (1.6mm) x 7" and comes in a 10pc pack. Tungsten's hardness and high-temperature resistance make it ideal for carrying welding current to the arc.
- Tungsten is a rare metallic element used for manufacturing gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) electrodes.
- The GTAW process relies on tungsten's hardness and high-temperature resistance to carry the welding current to the arc.
- Tungsten has the highest melting point of any metal, 3,410 degrees Celsius.
Product Highlights
The XTRWELD Zirconiated Tungsten Electrode is engineered for GTAW welding, offering arc stability and resistance to tungsten spitting. Ideal for welding aluminum and magnesium alloys.
