The XTRWELD WTE3250 is a ground E3 tungsten electrode designed for TIG welding applications. E3 electrodes are identified by their purple color code and are a versatile, non-radioactive alternative to traditional rare-earth electrodes. Each electrode measures 0.25 inches (6.4 mm) in diameter and 7 inches in length. This package contains 5 electrodes. Manufactured to AWS A5.12 specification, the WTE3250 provides consistent arc starting and stable arc performance across a range of base metals and welding currents. Licensed welders and skilled fabricators working with AC or DC TIG processes will find these electrodes suitable for precision work.
E3 tungsten electrodes are commonly used in professional TIG welding of stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and other metals in both light industrial and fabrication shop environments. The ground finish on each electrode ensures dimensional consistency and surface quality that supports reliable arc ignition. These electrodes are appropriate for use with standard TIG torches accepting 0.25 inch diameter tungsten. The 5-piece pack format is suited to shop inventory, service vehicles, and job-site kits.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement tungsten electrode for use in standard TIG torches accepting 0.25 inch diameter tungsten electrodes.
Tungsten electrodes are installed and serviced by qualified welders and welding technicians. Always power down and de-energize the TIG welding machine before replacing a tungsten electrode. Prepare the electrode tip geometry (pointed, balled, or truncated) appropriate to the welding process and base metal before use. Follow applicable AWS safety guidelines and shop procedures when handling electrodes.
